Moving house is counted as one of the most stressful life experiences and it fills people with dread at the very thought of it.  However, whatever the reason for moving we at Housemoving Concierge can help and take away from you all the stress and let you start enjoying your new home.

This is what our £400 service includes:

We’ll come and meet you in your old home and help you decide what level of service you’d like – some people just want to pack themselves and have a good and reliable man with a van whilst other want to a ‘turn key’ service where everything goes from your old home to your new home without you ever having to pack a single box

Then, we’ll go room by room with you and create a moving schedule so that you know what you’re going to need to keep or sell before the move and possibly what you’ll need in your new house.   If you need to organise to have a light moved or the washing machine unplumbed we can help you with that too.

We’ll then organise for three removal companies that fit your idea of a perfect move to come and quote for your move – you choose who you think is best for the job and meets your budget. And if you need anyone specialist - like piano movers - we will be able to advise.

We’ll liaise with the removal firm, estate agent and solicitor if you’d like us to and we’ll create a personalised moving schedule which will also include key dates like when to re-direct your mail and when to give notice to other service providers for instance.

For the new house we’ll do a comparison of utility and service providers to find you the best deals available and organise for those services to start at the new house.  We’ll also organise change of addresses on your behalf, we’ve got a great list of who you need to tell – like the DVLA, your local council, doctor etc and we’ll do that for you. 

We’ll be there on the moving day to make sure everything goes smoothly, to take the readings and to just be an extra pair of hands when and where you need them.

Then, when you’re moved in and you need things doing you’ll have a month's free membership of our Virtual PA concierge service – we can help organise any thing you need doing in your new house from renovations and decorating through to a fabulous housewarming party.  And, if you’re new to the area, we can help you get settled in your new neighbourhood and help out with things to do and restaurant recommendations – you’ll soon be right at home!
